1.    NAEC: 

  • 07 big events to be held in 2017 including 05 forums on extension/agriculture security (on H7N9 prevention, AMR, ...) and 02 conferences on Restructuring of Agricultural sector and Agriculture and response to Climate change;
  • Enhance communication activities via television channels such as VTV1, VTC16 and VTV2
  • Continue cooperation with FAO to  implement the project: “Reducing risks and managing human health threats in the animal value chain – EPT2” (OSRO/RAS/402/USA)

2.    CIRAD: Sharing the mapping of on-going initiatives in AMR/AMU surveillance in Viet Nam

3.    WCS:

  • Update on on-going activities in the quarter (factsheet)
  • Training on sampling and study on risk-potential behaviours in hospitals (PREDICT-2) (in collaboration with NIHE & VOHUN)

4.    P&R:

  • Support the implementation of joint-circular 16/2013/TTLT-BYT-BNNPTNT in Ha Giang and Quang Nam provinces
  • Meeting with GDPM and DAH on collaboration between human and animal health sectors at provincial level
  • Support the “after action review” to review experience and identify next steps in responding to H7N9 outbreak (collaborate with GDPM)
  • Continue to work with OHP to identify upcoming collaboration activities

5.    VOHUN + WCS: Training on sampling, doing survey and communication

6.    GDPM: Support implementation of joint Circular 16/2013/TTLT-BYT-BNNPTNT

7.    OHP:

  • Collaborate with GDPM in developing TOR for consultant to monitor the implementation of ARES action plan
  • Support organizing OHCN quarterly meeting (Q2.2017);
  • High-level launching meeting for the OHSP, 2016 – 2020 (chaired by Vice-Ministers of MARD and MOH)
  • Organizing 02 meetings to disseminate the implementing decree and guidelines for the Vet Law (work with DAH)
  • Continue discussion with NAEC in building the concept note for developing communication strategy  for priority zoonotic diseases prevention
  • Support the organization of international ZDAP conference
